Email: [email protected]Michael Kaip operates this website and determines the purposes and means of the processing described below.
2. Website hosting and technical delivery
This website is created and hosted using Carrd, provided by Carrd Inc., United States. When the website is accessed, technical connection and log data may be processed in order to deliver the website and maintain its security and stability. This may include the IP address, browser and device information, date and time of the request and technical usage information.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and efficient provision of this website. Carrd states that its service is operated from the United States and that personal information may be processed there. Carrd also states that it uses safeguards consistent with applicable law for international transfers.
3. Cloudflare and technically necessary cookie
Carrd uses Cloudflare infrastructure for security and delivery functions. In the current configuration, the website sets the technically necessary cookie __cf_bm. Cloudflare describes this cookie as necessary for bot-detection functions. It expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity and is generated separately for each site.
This processing is carried out to protect the website against automated abuse and malicious traffic. The legal basis under the GDPR is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Storage or access on the user's device is based on § 25(2) TDDDG because the cookie is technically necessary for the security and provision of the requested website.
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or cross-site marketing. At the time of the latest technical review, no AI-Gov data was stored in Local Storage or Session Storage.
4. Contact form
Use of the contact form is voluntary. We process the information you provide: name, email address and message are required; the company name is optional. You can instead contact us directly by email. The purpose is to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to discuss a potential pilot, cooperation or other business relationship.
If your inquiry concerns steps prior to entering into a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other inquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to communications addressed to us.
The contact form is technically processed through Carrd and includes a hidden honeypot field for spam protection. Carrd states that messages from its contact forms are sent from the domain @mail.carrd.site. The resulting email is delivered to [email protected]. If a contact subsequently participates in structured product research, separate participant information and the approved research process apply.
5. Email communication and IONOS Mail
Email communication to AI-Gov is handled using IONOS Mail Basic. IONOS may therefore process message content, sender and recipient addresses and technical email metadata as a processor. IONOS states that its data-processing agreement applies to Mail Basic and, for contracts concluded since 19 July 2022, forms part of its terms and conditions.
The legal basis for our handling of incoming email is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the communication relates to pre-contractual measures and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. External links to LinkedIn and Blinq
This website contains ordinary links to LinkedIn profiles and a Blinq contact card. We do not embed LinkedIn or Blinq plugins. A connection to the respective provider is therefore only initiated when you actively follow such a link. From that point onward, processing is governed by that provider's own privacy terms.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Personal data may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate the website and communication channels, in particular Carrd, Cloudflare as part of Carrd's delivery and security infrastructure, and IONOS for email hosting.
Carrd is based in the United States and states that its service is operated from the United States. Cloudflare may also process data internationally. Cloudflare states that it relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, including additional safeguards where required, for relevant international transfers. The contractual processor and subprocessor arrangements applicable to the current Carrd account, including Cloudflare, are being verified before a more specific statement is made here.
8. Storage period
Contact and email data are retained only for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry and any reasonable follow-up. They may be retained for longer where this is necessary for an ongoing contractual relationship, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or compliance with statutory retention obligations. We do not independently set the retention period for Carrd and Cloudflare technical log and security data. The providers' applicable retention criteria for the current configuration are being verified.
9. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have in particular the right to:
- access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability where applicable (Art. 20 GDPR), and
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
Right to object: You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We will then no longer process the affected personal data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
10. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for the controller is:
